Below you’ll find the message found on the label of Bridgeport Brewing Company’s Beertown Brown. Before you read it, think of your favorite Filipino.
Our roasted chocolate and pale malts shake hands creating mild caramel flavors. Brown is your new reason to love beer. Hops are added to create the perfect balance of sweetness to hopiness. Brown is back… and it’s beautiful.

Let’s just say that the fellowship of the suffering includes those who are old enough to “suffer” from giving up treats or video games for several weeks. As parents trying to raise kids in The Way, this stokes us to no end. And I believe that the conversation brought a smile to our Lord’s face.

One word: Heelys. Way to go, Grandma Nene! Also, a special thanks to aunt Amy and cousin Madison for picking out a great looking pair!
In keeping with tradition, Mia got mom her favorite thing. Six of them, actually. Mia presented mom a six-pack of Bridgeport Brewing Company’s Beertown Brown. And don’t you worry, since Mia’s underage, I bought ‘em for her.
On Friday night, Mia and some friends went to Red Robin for dinner and to voraciously split a piece of Mile-High Mud Pie.
(Clara, Maddy, Annie, and Mia: Post-Red Robin, pre-slumber party.)

Ian: Why are you crying?
Paige (through sobs and tears): I don’t want my hair to be all crazy when I wake up.
