Choose Your Own Adventure

We introduced Mia (almost eight) to Choose Your Own Adventure books recently. Last weekend we bought her book #11 titled Trouble On Planet Earth. The first time she read it she saved the world.
And I find it very endearing that she’s read it seventeen times (and counting) so that she can know all the storylines. She’s pretty zealous about it.

Keaggy Concert

It went Melody, Scott, Ian, Mindy, Mel and Shon sitting three rows back off the center aisle at the Phil Keaggy concert tonight. Keaggy just keeps getting better and better. “Do you not want me to see what’s in that bag?”

Boring Day
February 19, 2007 · Leave a Comment
…by Makaena.
Today is boring,
Boring all through.
There’s a parrot on my head,
There’s a turtle on my shoe.
Now there’s two parrots on my head
And I’m goin’ to bed.
(Inspired by Shel Silverstein’s Where The Sidewalk Ends.)
